Recap of the Year

2024 has been a year of growth and change, but personally & professionally. Our family welcomed a new baby in April, two of my sisters got married, we moved to a new homestead, and Ohlman Photography acquired a studio. All this while raising a gang of small people and growing my business simultaneously.

This is my first year writing an annual report blog post, and I'm excited to share about the families and brands that have trusted me for their photos this year! As I gathered the data to write this post, I was genuinely surprised and grateful to see how much growth my business has experienced-- especially because of the huge personal changes that took place this year. It's been an incredibly busy year, and I'm excited to share my year-end review with you here.

I look forward to these reviews becoming an annual occurrence, because it's so important to celebrate our wins -- no matter how small. It's easy to get caught up in planning for the future; creating goals for the new year, envisioning where I want my business to be this time next year (or in two, five, ten years). But taking the time to look back and see the growth my business has already had is honestly really encouraging, and something totally worth celebrating. So without further ado, here's my 2024 recap!

It's been an absolute honor to photograph so many families and brands over the years, and I can't wait to work with many more 2025!
